About Us

Twin Ponds Figure Skating Club has had a Synchronized Skating Program for over ten years under the leadership of Amy Henderson, Debbie Sheaffer, Janice Reinke & the Twin Ponds FSC Board. The team receives presentation instruction from Kristina Grant of the Harrisburg Ballet Theater. This year's guest coach is Heather Paige-Himes of the Starlights and former skater of the University of Miami (OH).

madelinesThe Team Reflections synchro program started with the “Sweet Madelines” Recreational Team premiering at the Twin Ponds Christmas Show in December 1999 with girls ages 5 to 11. Many, if not most of these skaters are now members of the current Intermediate team.

The 2009-2010 season was a medal winning season with 2 gold, 2 silver and one bronze for the Intermediate team. Both in 2009-10 and in 2008-09, the Intermediate team placed third at the Eastern Sectional Synchronized Skating Championships and in the 2006-07 season, the Intermediate Team won Silver at the Eastern Sectional. Their excellent skating at sectionals has qualified the team for the U.S. National Synchronized Skating Championships five times and has earned them the silver medal for 2009-10!
